Simla special (1982)

Intro:  Simla special is a Tamil language film starring Kamal Hasan in the lead role. S .V. Sekhar, Sripriya, Thenga sreenivasan, YGM, Manorama are other major stars appearing in this comedy.

Storyline :Gopu is a budding drama artist. He and his good friend, Babu own a popular troupe that performs low budget comedies. To help Babu pay for his sister's wedding, they accept a commission to perform a set of plays for Tamilians in Simla. One of the plays is titled "Simla Special" and is written by Mahalakshmi. 

While Kamal is in Simla, Babu receives a telegram intended for Gopu informing him of Gopu's mom being seriously ill. Fearing the loss of the money if they renege on the Simla commission, Babu keeps the information from Gopu. Gopu subsequently finds out about his mother's illness when a friend calls to tell him that her situation has worsened. However, for the sake of his friend's sister, he decides to continue acting. He also keeps the information to himself, thinking that if Babu knew, he'd insist that Gopu go back to be by his mother's side.
On the last day of their engagement, Kamal finds the telegram in Babu's coat pocket and realizes his friend's deception. He breaks off his friendship with Babu - but is forced to stay for one last encore before he leaves. While he is performing, Babu receives a call that Gopu's mom has recovered. All is forgiven and the friends reunite.

Storyline : The film opens with Chiranjeevi being chased and caught by a group of policemen, but he escapes. Thee (1981)

Storyline : After a labour leader (AVM Rajan) is framed by a mill-owner and publicly dishonored, he leaves his wife Sita. and children to face the wrath of angry mill workers. His elder son A.K.A Raja  is badly affected by a  R.S.Manohar The hard childhood, drops him out of school and becomes an atheist and grows up to be a low level labourer at the harbor. He later joins with violent mafia don Jagdish .The younger son Ravi  sheltered by his brother and Mother, goes through school and college and ends up with a job in the police force with the advice from his girlfriend, Radha and her father. Suman is given the responsibility by his seniors in the police department to bring down Jagdish's gang that Raja is a part of. Ravi later realizes that his own brother, Raja, is a part of the gang, on confronting this along with their mother for self confession, Raja refuses for confession which leads Ravi & their mother to get away from their Porsch house.

Thillu Mullu (1981)

Storyline : For most of the rest of the film Chandran (Rajinikanth) was leading a dual life a sincere hardworking employee to his boss and a typical cool young guy Indran while teaching music to his boss' daughter. The story takes an unexpected turn when Sri Ramachandramurthy meets socialite Meenakshi Doriasamy (Sowkar Janaki) who was then pretending to be Chandran's widowed mother. A series of rib-tickling and logic defying scenarios follow, all involving Sri Ramachandramurthy being fooled by Chandran. One scene leads to another and eventually Sri Ramachandramurthy wants to marry off his daughter to Chandran. But in the pre-climax Sri Ramachandramurthy finds out that he was fooled.In the climax actor Kamal Hassan makes a cameo appearance as a fake lawyer who wants to sue Sri Ramachandramurthy on Chandran's behalf. Sri Ramachandramurthy was, for the most part, scared during the lawyer's monologue but, in the end, realized that he was being fooled again — this time by the lawyer.

Antha 7 naatkal (1981)

 intro :Antha Ezhu Naatkal, or Antha 7 Naatkal (English: Those seven days), is a 1981 Tamil language film. Directed & starred by K.Bhagyaraj the movie follows the life and ambitions of the hero, Palakkad Madhavan played by K. Bhagyaraj himself and his sidekick Gopi (child actor Khaja Sharif). The movie was a great hit and very well received by the public.

Storyline :  The story starts off with Vasanthi (Ambika) and Dr. Anand's (Rajesh) marriage. On their wedding night Vasanthi attempts suicide and is saved by Dr. Anand. He then inquires about her past. Vasanthi tells him of her failed love affair with Palakkad Madhavan (Bhagyaraj). earing of Vasanthi's past, Dr. Anand decides that she should reunite with her lover and he will help her do that. He asks her to stay in his house for a week as his terminally ill mother is counting her last days. Vasanthi agrees to this while Anand is looking for Madhavan in Kerala and in Madras. During her 7 day stay with Dr. Anand she starts interacting with him, his mother, his daughter. When her husband finally find and bring Madhavan to take Vasanthi with him, She refuses to go with him and decides to stay with her husband. The movie ends with Bhagyraj's famous line "my lover can become your wife but your wife can never become my lover. That is our culture".
