Bhairavi (1978)
Intro : It was Rajinikanth's first movie as a hero in Tamil Cinema. He was also given the "Superstar" title through this film. The film stars Sripriya as the female lead and Geetha playing the title role as Rajini's sister.Srikanth played the role of the main villain. Manorama and Suruli Rajan played other major roles.
Storyline : Mookaiyah (Rajinikanth) and his sister Bairavi (Geetha) are the children of a drunkard. They are separated after Bhairavi gets lost in an accident. Following this, Mookaiyah becomes a servant of a local landlord (Sreekanth). Mookaiyah is a loyal servant and does whatever is asked of him. The landlord, Rajalingam (Sreekanth), forces Mookaiyah to abduct a young girl from a neighboring village, Bhagyam (Geetha). Rajalingam rapes her in the absence of Mookaiyah. Geetha is killed during the attack. Maanikam, Bhagyam's adopted brother, vows to take revenge on Mookaiyah, whom he believes to be responsible for Bairavi's death. Meanwhile, Mookaiyah learns that Bhagyam is his long-lost sister (Bairavi). He then sets out to kill the landlord in revenge for his sister's death.

Siggapu Roojaakal (1978)
Intro : In an era of over-dramatised acting in Tamil films, Sigappu Rojakkal was one of the notable exceptions. With an anti-hero who is a psychopathic, sexual killer in the lead, the movie was seen as controversial by traditional and orthodox moviegoers in Tamilnadu.
Storyline:Dileep (Kamal) is a successful businessman with a dark side. He preys on nubile girls and rapes and kills them.Dileep chances upon an undergarments salesgirl, Sarada (Sridevi), and develops an attraction for her. Sarada, a conservative woman, insists that Dileep must marry her if he wants to have his way with her. The romance proceeds, and appears to be Dileep's salvation before things begin to collapse for him. On his marriage day, Sarada stumbles upon a diary containing details of his deranged life and, and names of the girls he had killed scribbled on the walls of one of the rooms in his large house. A tense chase ensues, which ends in a graveyard in the dead of night, with Dileep stumbling and falling on a cross which pierces him. In the ensuing chase, Dileep is caught by the police.
He is subsequently jailed but gets mentally retarded and loses his bloodthirsty ways. He keeps repeating Sarada's name, as it is his only coherent thought, and all other memories have been erased from his mind.

ILamai OOnjal AAdukirathu (1978)
Intro:The flim was directed by Sridar. casts by Kamal, Rajini & Sripriya . The director remade the film in Telgu as Vayasu Pilichindi (1978) with the same quartet of actors from the Tamil film Rajinikanth , Kamalhasan , Sripriya and Jayachitra.
Storyline: Murli and Prabhu are owner and manager respectively, of an advertising agency in Madras. Prabhu has been raised by Murli's family, and feels greatly indebted to them. Prabhu is in love with Padma but a misunderstanding leads them apart. In the meantime, Murli meets and falls in love with Padma.

Neetrikkan (1981)
Intro : In this flim Rajinikanth played dual role Father and Son. Directed by S.P. Muthuraman.
Storyline : The story revolves around Chakravarthy who is a successful textile businessman in Coimbatore. He is a great womaniser (perhaps his only weakness) and picks up any women he wants. He has wife Meenakshi , his son Santosh and his daughter Sangeetha It doesn't take long for Santosh to find his father's provocative behavior and tries to mend his father's ways. Radha (Saritha) gets introduced as a candidate for PRO interview and eventually gets selected and is sent to Hong Kong for training. Chakravarthy unable to tolerate his son's growing menace also sets off to Hong Kong for a vacation. Here he meets Radha and at one point ends up raping her. Chakravarthy flies back to India where he is met with a number of changes which all points out to the new General Manager. This person turns out be Radha who has joined with Santosh to teach Chakravarthy a lesson for lifetime.
