Intro : film about the role of money and working women in 1980s Indian middle-class society.
Storyline : The film opens on an ordinary day in the lives of the families in a large apartment house in Chennai. Each family represents a different slice of early 80s middle-class society.The film ends with the missive that money is required for life but life must not be entirely consumed by money.
